Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a catalyst composition for the reaction of hydrocarbons comprising a zeolite with has a faujasite structure and a fibrous zeolite which comprises essentially non-crossing one-dimensional channels. Further, the catalyst composition comprises in a preferred embodiment a metal component selected from metals of the group VIB and VIII of the periodic table of elements and their compounds. The invention relates further to a process for the synthesis of such a catalyst composition and to a process for hydrocracking hydrocarbon feedstocks by using said catalyst composition.
