Zusammenfassung:A plasma display device includes: a display panel which has a plurality of X and Y display electrodes and a plurality of address electrodes crossing the X and Y display electrodes; an electrode drive circuit which drives the X and Y display electrodes and address electrodes; and a drive circuit which control the electrode drive circuit. The drive control circuit performs an address drive control for selectively turning cells ON in each subfield, sustain drive control for generating sustain discharge in the ON cells, and reset drive control for resetting charges on the electrodes by applying slope pulse voltage on the Y display electrodes. The drive control circuit also performs reset drive control corresponding to the sustain discharge count.
