DRUM WASHING MACHINE

A drum washing machine is disclosed. The drum washing machine according to the present invention includes a tub for storing wash water therein, a drum rotatably mounted within the tub, a motor mounted in rear of the tub, the motor having a shaft to rotate the drum, a bearing housing inserted into the tub with a hollow allowing the shaft of the motor to pass through formed in a center thereof, a bearing secured to the hollow of the bearing housing and an outlet hole for discharging gas or moisture generated in the bearing and the adjacent portion of the bearing to and outside of the bearing housing. The present invention has an advantageous effect of enhancing durability thereof, because the drum washing machine includes the outlet hole provided in the bearing housing where the shaft is rotated to prevent moisture or water from remaining in the bearing housing.
