ELEVATOR SYSTEM

The invention relates to an elevator system having an elevator shaft and at least one elevator cabin movable inside the elevator shaft. The elevator system further comprises a decentralized control system having a first analysis unit associated with one of the at least one elevator cabin, a second analysis unit associated with the elevator shaft, and a number of third analysis units. The first, second, and third analysis units are connected to one another via a bus connection, wherein signal transmission occurs via the bus connection using a safety protocol such that the transmission of safety-relevant data is allowed between the analysis units. The safety protocol is structured such that transmission errors are detected and data corruption is indicated. Moreover, the first analysis unit associated with the elevator cabin is connected to sensors for securely detecting the position of the elevator cabin, allowing control of safety devices of the elevator system. The second analysis unit is connected to a drive of the elevator system.
