Zusammenfassung:A developer to be used in an image forming apparatus includes a toner containing a core toner including a colorant, a binder resin, a release agent and a charge controlling agent containing Al and Mg, a first inorganic oxide externally added to the core toner, having a primary particle diameter of from 51 to 200 nm in an amount of from 0.2 to 5.0 wt % based on the core toner, and a second inorganic oxide externally added to the core toner, having a primary particle diameter of from 8 to 50 nm in an amount of from 0.2 to 4.0 wt % based on the core toner, and a carrier having a volume resistivity under an electric field of 1000 V/mm of from 1x10+5 to 1x10+12 Omegacm.
