The wheels are connected to the frame for moving the hand truck place to place. In one embodiment, the active identifier(s) includes a housing with a base connected to the frame and with a cover removably connected to the base. The active identifier(s) includes one or more light sources supported by the housing and enclosed by the cover. The active identifier(s) includes a power source supported by the housing in order to provide power to the light source(s).
