Zusammenfassung:	A communication device includes a reception unit that receives an emergency alarm signal transmitted from a broadcasting station in an emergency, a conversion unit that executes first conversion processing for converting an analog transmission signal to a digital transmission signal at a first bit rate when the emergency alarm signal is not being received, and executes second conversion processing for converting the analog transmission signal to a digital transmission signal at a second bit rate that is lower than the first bit rate when the emergency alarm signal has been received; and a transmission unit that transmits the digital transmission signal.
