Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of the invention generally relate to the printing of an image. In one version, first image data representing a first background image of a first size is stored in a memory. A printing apparatus is connected via a network to a server that stores second image data representing a second background image of a second size that is greater than the first size. A condition for printing is set based on image data representing an image to be printed. Based on the set condition, the image data representing the image to be printed is synthesized with the first image data representing the background image that is stored in the memory or the second image data obtained from the server by accessing the server via the network. Printing is performed based on the synthesized image data.
