Zusammenfassung:	A method, apparatus, and computer program product pre-calculate navigational routes to points of interest on a digital map so that route directions to a selected point of interest can be presented immediately when the user makes the selection while in motion and coupons and special offers can be provided related to those points of interest. In parallel with motion along a principal direction, the navigation device pre-calculates routes to points of interest before they become visible within the viewport of the device, so that the pre-calculated routes can be presented immediately if the user selects the point of interest.
