Zusammenfassung:	An electronic program guide (EPG) having a magnifying glass effect to enlarge the font size of a portion of the television program data presented in a grid format. The magnifying glass effect options are selected by the user. The magnifying glass effect can be stationary on the screen and have text scroll underneath it or it can be used in conjunction with the highlighting effect so that every highlighted item is magnified. The magnifying glass effect could always be in use, activated by the amount of time a field is highlighted, or activated by user input.
