Zusammenfassung:	A portable handheld work apparatus has a housing ( 2 ) having at least two housing parts. At least one spring clamp ( 6, 26, 36, 46, 56 ) is provided for the releasable attachment of the one housing part to the other housing part. The spring clamp ( 6, 26, 36, 46, 56 ) is provided to clamp the two housing parts. A wear protector ( 8 ) is effective between the two housing parts in the clamping direction ( 9 ). A simple configuration and few individual parts are achieved when the spring clamps ( 6, 26, 36, 46, 56 ) have the wear protector ( 8 ).
