Zusammenfassung:Domain names are registered with a domain name registration service for an indefinite period in exchange for a lump sum payment from the domain name registrant. The domain name registration service registers the domain name in the name of the domain name registrant and the domain name registration is kept active so long as the domain name registrant keeps the lump sum payment with the domain name registration service. If the user cancels the indefinite-period domain name registration, the lump sum payment is returned to the user minus any applicable penalties for early cancellation.
