Zusammenfassung:A method to synchronize Fault Code Memory between at least a first module and a second module in an engine controller unit; each said module in electronic communication with each other and having volatile and non volatile memory; said modules in electronic communication; when compatibility of versions of static fault codes between the modules is established, the first module downloads and saves the static fault code table resident on the second module in nonvolatile memory for access by a diagnostic tool.
