Zusammenfassung:Systems and methods for management of resources in wireless networks such as IEEE 802.11 and 802.16 networks are described. Wireless resource management within a network specific configuration may be implemented in a combination of hardware and software based on knowledge of network and device specific parameters. Management of resources may include management of quality of service (QOS) and management of wireless devices operating in accordance with multiple protocols within a dynamic and adaptive resource management architecture.
