Zusammenfassung:	A series resonant converter (SRC) power supply with a wide input range and high efficiency includes at least one SRC connected to a respective at least one synchronous/asynchronous rectifier operative to receive phase control. Efficient power conversion in a wide input voltage range of about 1:11 is achieved by using both frequency control of the SRC and phase control of phase differences between a voltage signal inside the SRC and a voltage signal inside the respective at least one synchronous/asynchronous rectifier coupled to the SRC. Preferably, the phase control is applied, alone or in combination with additional frequency control, after the phase difference reaches 90 degrees and up to a phase difference of 180 degrees.
