Zusammenfassung:A method and apparatus of providing workflows ( 400 - 404 ) to the operators of network management systems ( 114 ) and subsystems ( 202 - 208 ) is disclosed. The method identifies a plurality of tasks ( 210 - 228 ) that can be accomplished by at least one of the subsystem accessible for the workflows and groups the tasks into a plurality of roles ( 302 - 308 ) wherein each role includes at least one task to be performed. The roles are grouped into the workflows according to the roles needed to address an alarm condition. The workflow can be provided to an operator with a user interface ( 600 ).
