Zusammenfassung:	A yield monitor includes a harvesting device and yield data collection equipment including a GPS unit which collects sufficient data for determining the yield and global position of an agricultural commodity harvested by the harvesting device. A data recording device records the data in response to activation by a switch. The switch is automatically activated each time a batch of the commodity is collected without the use of human interaction at the time of data collection.
