Polypeptides of thyroid stimulating hormone have a novel use as an anti-inflammatory agent as a stand-alone therapy, or in conjunction with other anti-inflammatory agents. In addition, thyroid stimulating hormone can be used to potentiate the anti-inflammatory activity of glucocorticoid treatment.
