Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of the invention provide methods, systems, and computer-readable media for enabling collaborative communication between browser and non-browser components in an advanced patient management system. In one embodiment, patient data in the advanced patient management system is selected in a browser component. The browser component may include an Internet web browser which displays the patient data as a web page. A non-browser component is utilized to detect the patient data in the browser component and display the patient data. The non-browser component may be configured as a plug-in software module to the web browser. The non-browser component may further be utilized to modify patient data and display the modified patient data in the browser component. The modified patient data may include settings associated with a patient monitoring device in the advanced patient management system.
