The diving bill includes an integrated hook, which is used to pierce the artificial lure and extend through lure, thereby providing an exposed curved end and barbed tip. The diving bill may include an eye and a weed guard. The diving bill may modify any lure to move through the water in a similar fashion as a crank bait.
