Zusammenfassung:	An enamel composition providing improved silver bus bar hiding for automotive applications is disclosed. The enamel consists of a carrier vehicle, and a solid portion which includes one or more glass frits and a metal silicide where the metal consists of one or more elements from groups IA, IIA, IIIB, IVB, VB, VIB, VIIB, VIII, IB, IIB, IIIA, IVA, VA, VIA, VIIA, VIIIA, and/or a lanthanide and/or actinide of the periodic table. The metal silicide comprises from about 0.01 to about 20 percent of the solid portion.
