The die molded portion comprises a weather strip main body and a protruding cushion member which is integrally molded with the weather strip main body. The cushion member comprises a cavity for a purpose of absorbing a mechanical shock which is produced at a time a door is closed. The die molded portion is formed with a soft material. The cavity is filled with a cushion element which is made of a hard material.
