Zusammenfassung:	The objective of the present invention is to provide a novel white light-emitting compound, which is a single substance, capable of emitting white light by itself, a simple process of preparing the white light-emitting compound, and a white light-emitting element including the white light-emitting compound. The white light-emitting compound according to the present invention is characterized by its structure represented by formula (1): wherein R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a specified aryl group, wherein there are no cases where both R1s are hydrogen atoms.
