| Zusammenfassung: | Therapeutic pharmaceutical compositions are provided that include an anticholinergic agent and a sedative agent. Particularly preferred anticholinergic agents include anticholinergic agents which do not substantially cross the blood-brain barrier. Methscopolamine bromide is the preferred anticholinergic agent. The sedative agent may be chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride or diazepam. Various methods using the compositions to alleviate gastrointestinal disorders or symptoms thereof are also provided. |
