Zusammenfassung:	The present invention concerns a method for prepurifying and concentrating a desired recombinant protein from a complex media, wherein said method comprises the steps of bringing the complex media into contact with at least one diatomaceous earth for a sufficient time to effect adsorption of the desired recombinant protein onto the diatomaceous earth and desorbing the desired prepurified and concentrated recombinant protein from the diatomaceous earth.
