Zusammenfassung:	A tie bag includes a hem seal, at the mouth of the bag, which grips the top of a receptacle, when the tie bag is used as a liner for the receptacle, to preclude having the mouth of the bag fall into the receptacle. The hem seal forms a hem flap, which is cut in a geometric pattern to provide tie fasteners. The hem seal may also form a hem at the open mouth of the tie bag. The tie bag may further include a pair of secondary hem seals closing the hem at the opposing sides of the sidewalls.
