Zusammenfassung: | A device and method for cleaning and sanitizing vacuum lines used in dental, medical and laboratory facilities comprising a canister body having an inlet and an outlet in communication with a fluid chamber inside the canister body. An inner chamber inside the canister body is in fluid communication with the fluid chamber and is suitable for receiving a supply of chemicals therein. The inlet is suitable for communication with a fluid supply line. Fluid from the supply line interacts with the chemicals in the fluid chamber to form a sanitizing mixture. One end of a vacuum line connects to the outlet to vacuum the sanitizing mixture through the vacuum line to clean and sanitize the vacuum line. To reduce chemical storage requirements, spillage and over-use, the chemical can be supplied in a cartridge form that dissolves, either fully or partially, when combined with the fluid inside the fluid chamber. |
