Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a dosing device for topically administering a pharmaceutical formulation to a skin of a mammal, the device comprising a housing capable of holding at least one unit dose of a pharmaceutical formulation comprising a drug and a carrier; an applicator adapted for topically administering a unit dose of the pharmaceutical formulation directly onto the skin; and an actuator, wherein upon actuation, the device is capable of metering a unit dose of the pharmaceutical formulation external to the device, from the housing to the applicator; and methods thereof.
