Said AtSIK protein isolated from Arabidopsis thaliana acts as a negative regulator to the osmotic stress-inducible gene. Therefore, a plant having enhanced resistance to osmotic stress can be produced by inhibiting expression of AtSIK and consequently, the productivity of the plant can be increased. |
