Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a novel fungus of Metarhizium genus and a method for controlling soil pests using the same, more particularly to a novel Metarhizium anisopliae HY-2 and a microbial insecticide comprising the same and a method for controlling soil pests using the same. The Metarhizium anisopliae HY-2 can effectively be used to control the soil pests such as Scarabaeidae.
