Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides cytochrome 2C9 proteins which have been modified to introduce a proline residue at positions 220 or 222 of the wild type sequence which can be crystallised to provide high resolution structures. The structures may be used for homology modelling of other cytochrome P450 structures such as 2C8, 2C18 and 2C19, and for analysis of the interaction of ligands with P450.
