Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A display system and method for the display of images wherein there is a selection of a partitioning of an image display area from a predefined set of partitionings and display of a representation of the partitioning of the image display area in an image selection area. Then, representations of images of a set of images are displayed in the image selection area. Next, an assignment is made of a selected representation of an image to be displayed to an area of the representation of the partitioning via a graphical user interface. Then, the image is displayed in a part of the image display area that corresponds to the area of the representation of the partitioning.
