Zusammenfassung:	The use of an adhesive tape for detecting the unauthorized broaching of a package, by virtue of the fact that on removal from the surface of a package the adhesive is irreversibly destroyed and clearly indicates an attempted broaching by being destroyed by tearing, or by splitting in the thickness direction, the adhesive tape having a backing based on cellulose acetate, cellulose diacetate, cellulose triacetate or cellulose hydrate of low tear propagation resistance, one side of which backing has been provided with an adhesive composition.
