Zusammenfassung: | 190,162. Marti Cabretosa, V. Dec. 7, 1921, [Convention date]. Non-metallic elastic bodies and cores; tyre attachments to rims. -A rubber tyre is formed with radial pockets 44, 45 which communicate with one another and with the atmosphere by lateral passages 46, 47 respectively. Rubber &c. blocks 48, 49, correspondingly apertured, partially fill the pockets. To lessen friction between the blocks and the walls of the pockets, and to augment air-circulation, the contacting surfaces of those parts are formed with straight or helical crossing grooves. The tyre base is corrugated to seat on a corresponding ring 52 which is riveted to a band 51 fitting the rim-bed 34. The tyre is clamped between a fixed flange 35 and a detachable flange 37 which is secured by bolts 53 housed in the corrugations of the ring 52. |
