Zusammenfassung:	A power tool, such as a grinder, may include: a prime mover such as a motor; a power-transmission mechanism operably connected to the prime mover; a housing that houses the prime mover and the power-transmission mechanism; and a tool-accessory retaining part for holding a tool accessary. The tool-accessory retaining part is operably connected to the power-transmission mechanism. An accessory is mounted on the housing in a detachable manner. A link member moves in response to mounting and demounting of the accessory. A detection sensor is housed in an interior of the housing and includes a non-contact sensor device. The detection sensor is configured to detect movement of the link member using the non-contact sensor device.
