Zusammenfassung: | This present invention relates to a stabilizer fin which is designed to act as a rudder system for a towable floatation device. The stabilizer fin can be mounted to any conventional pull behind floatable device to keep the device tracking straighter as it is pulled through the water. The stabilizer fin assembly comprises a mounting plate that is moulded to fit to the shape of the rear of the floatable device, and a fin designed to be attached to the mounting plate. The fin pivots freely between vertical up and down positions. The fin is counterweighted in order for the fin to fall freely into the lowered or down position while in the water. The stabilizer fin ensures that the floatable device does not create unnecessary drag and eases the paddling process for a watercraft operator towing the floatable device. |
