In operation of the laser device, light emanates from the laser diodes and couples into an optical fiber. The laser device also has an optical device, during operation of the laser device, that combines the light so that the light can be coupled at least partially together into the optical fiber. The beam parameter product of the laser diodes with respect to the direction in which the laser diodes are arranged next to one another is greater than the beam parameter product of the optical fiber. |
