Zusammenfassung:	A power transmitting device includes a power transmitting unit configured to perform power transmission to the power receiving device through contactless power supply, and a memory unit that stores appropriate power supply information, and processing circuitry that is configured to switch a power transmission mode of the power transmitting unit. The processing circuitry is configured to acquire power supply information in a surrounding environment at execution of the power transmission, determine whether the power supply information and the appropriate power supply information are different from each other, set the power transmission mode to a limit mode when determining that the power supply information and the appropriate power supply information are different from each other, and set the power transmission mode to a normal-output mode when determining that the power supply information and the appropriate power supply information are not different from each other.
