Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for controlling pests. A ready-to-use barrier and knockdown pesticide composition comprises a killing agent; a knockdown agent; a surface-active agent; and a carrier, and the composition is a water-in-oil emulsion. A method for controlling pests comprises applying the RTU barrier and knockdown pesticide composition directly to a target pest using a sprayer. The present compositions and methods provide average users an immediate indication of the knockdown efficiency against target pests.
