Zusammenfassung:	There is provided a system for analyzing images for facial expression recognition, comprising: at least one short wave infrared (SWIR) illumination element that generates SWIR illumination for illumination of a face of a person, at least one SWIR sensor that captures at least one SWIR image of the face under the SWIR illumination, and a non-transitory medium storing program instructions, which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to analyze the at least one SWIR image for recognizing a facial expression depicted by the face.
