Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a task light apparatus for use in low light or low glare environments in all types of working environments including air traffic control towers and vehicles such as seagoing vessels, aircraft or land vehicles. The task lighting apparatus uses LEDs and has multiple, independently dimmable wash and spot light modes. The task lighting apparatus has a fully adjustable and balanced arm that allows the light head of the apparatus to be adjusted to a variety of positions while maintaining the light head's horizontal orientation to ensure light emitted from the light head is only emitted in a vertical downward direction.
