Zusammenfassung: | Knives, handles for knives, and a method for making a knife are disclosed. In one example, a knife comprises a handle that includes a flat top surface, two upper chamfers, a flat bottom surface, and two curving sides. The top surface, the two chamfers, bottom surface, and two sides form a six-sided cross section shape. The width of the handle further varies along its length. A blade fastened to the handle comprises a tip at a distal end and a pinch radius configured to accommodate a user's finger. A spine is continuous with the handle's top surface and tapers from the handle to the tip. A cutting edge tapers along the length of the blade from the pinch radius to the tip. A bolster is between the handle and the blade and comprises a six-sided cross section shape that substantially matches the shape of the handle. |
