The electronic device comprises, a memory operably connected with the processor, wherein the memory can include instructions, during the execution thereof, for allowing the processor to, display a user interface on a display, allow the user interface to provide guidelines for measuring the blood pressure, receive first data from the motion sensor, receive second data from a PPG sensor, receive third data from the PPG sensor, determine the validity of the third data at least partially on basis of the first data and the second data, and display an indication on the user interface at least partially basis of the determined validity.
