Zusammenfassung:	A door for a cooking appliance includes a front pane, a further pane arranged in spaced-apart relation to the front pane, a recessed grip embodied in an upper region of the door and configured for gripping from above, and a separate functional frame arranged in an intermediate space between the front pane and the further pane when viewed in a depth direction of the door. The functional frame includes an upper frame part having a delimiting web which protrudes upward on the upper frame part such that the recessed grip is embodied in the upper frame part.
