Zusammenfassung:	A windshield according to the present invention includes a first glass plate that includes a first surface and a second surface, a second glass plate that includes a first surface and a second surface and is arranged such that the first surface of the second glass plate faces the second surface of the first glass plate, and an intermediate film that is sandwiched between the first glass plate and the second glass plate. The first glass plate includes a first end portion and a second end portion that is opposite to the first end portion, and a thickness of the first glass plate decreases from the first end portion toward the second end portion. In the first glass plate, a surface compressive stress on the first end portion side is higher than a surface compressive stress on the second end portion side.
