Embodiments of the drop test measuring system can include, but is not limited to, a control module, a liquid level measuring device, and a remotely located smart device. The liquid level measuring device can be implemented to take measurements that can allow a smart device to calculate a liquid level based on the measurements in addition to other known parameters. Typically, the drop test measuring system can be implemented in a water treatment facility implementing a filter medium.
