Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an image display device including an optical laminate having, in order, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a specific laminate including an alignment layer and an optically anisotropic layer which are adjacent to each other, and another pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order, in which the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers are adjacent to the two surfaces of the specific laminate. The specific laminate has a thickness of 15 μm or less, the optically anisotropic layer has a thickness of 5 μm or less, and a thickness d of the alignment layer and an elastic modulus E of the alignment layer satisfy Expression (1): −E+0.45×d+3.6>0 (1), where d is in units of μm, and E is in units of GPa.
