Zusammenfassung:	An electrode assembly includes an electrode subassembly forming by winding a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate. The first electrode plate includes a first electrode plate unit. The first electrode plate unit includes a bipolar current collector, a first active layer, and a second active layer. The bipolar current collector is disposed between the first active layer and the second active layer. The first active layer is electrically connected to the second active layer. The second electrode plate includes a composite current collector, a third active layer, and a fourth active layer. The composite current collector is disposed between the third active layer and the fourth active layer. The third active layer is electrically insulated from the fourth active layer. The disclosure further provides a battery including the electrode assembly.
