Zusammenfassung:	The current invention concerns a device for securing a load in a container. In an embodiment of the current invention, such a device comprises a leaf having a front and a rear main surface, and an aperture extending between said main surfaces for receiving a strap, whereby said rear main surface comprises a protrusion. In a further aspect, the invention is directed towards a method for securing a load, which method employs such a device.
