Zusammenfassung:	Systems and methods to configure and control a smart lighting system via a hub are disclosed herein. In one aspect, a hub can assign a smart light device to a group of smart light devices based on a physical location of the smart light device. The group of smart light devices can correspond to a control profile including default and/or custom parameters to control the smart light device. The hub can automatically assign the smart light device to a group upon connection to the hub or can prompt assignment via a mobile device. In another aspect, the hub can track the usage of lights in a group and adjust the parameters based at least in part on the tracked usage.
